Dear Colleagues: I am pleased to see the rapid growth of WHTS in the past three years. Starting from 2+1 operations, we have been rewarded by our activities from all partners, customers, members, either local governments or world class scientists, experts,and industrial leaders. We have successfully achieved our short term goals for promotion of both scientific information exchanges, business connections, and enterprising opportunity explorations for our members by our active operations. "2+1 Operation" is the nickname of WHTS' major activities to build bridges for high tech professionals and industrial leaders to seek multilateral collaborations. 1 means: two type of conferences: Forums, i.e. Life Spring Forums of Biosciences, and WHTS' Annual International Drug Discovery Science & Technology™ . 2 means: "Tech tour strategy" to enhance the multilateral communications by lectures, information exchanges, surveys, technology transfer, consulting, and project collaborations, and market investigations across the world. Lasting Theme of Those Events: To encourage innovations, to meet challenges, to find opportunities, and to facilitate all dimensional collaborations in high tech world, we will strive to organize programs or conferences with high profile for the following areas: Life Science and their interfaces, and Sustainable Development IT in BT E-Commerce (B2C,B2B, Security) (WHTS DNA Day etc) by collabrating with enterises. New Material Sciences and Technologies Computing Tech: Hardware & Software Development, Intelligent Electronics, New Systems, Wireless Communications, Networking and Database, Data Mining, and Date Integrations Photon-Electron-Machinery Integration: Miniature of equipment, and System Control in Manufacturing. Cost effective tech integration. Resource integration: Protecting natural resources and integrating both natural and human resources worldwide. Intellectual Property Protections: Laws, Regulations, and Challenges, Opportunities, and traps. Business Development: Conferences, Product/Tech exhibitions, and tradeshows. Human Resources: Talent Exchanges from one country to the other.
