WHTS established Coordinators in Xi'An
During November 12-14, 2002, WHTS sent a delegation to Xi'an under the leadership of Dr. Xiaodan Mei, president of WHTS. WHTS members had information exchanges with Xi'an Tian Cheng, Gold Flower Pharmaceuticals, and 4th Millitory Medical University.

WHTS members discussed the potential collaborations in biotechnology industries from gene therapy, proteomics, drug discovery, and high throughput drug screening.

High Tech Zone, and local biotechnological companies expressed high interests in the projects which WHTS members are undertaking. Xi'an 4th Millitory Medical University hoped that WHTS could help their university to expand international collaborations in immunological, PK studies and other biotech areas.

After several presentations, Tiancheng Pharmaceuticals led the members to visit their company, and the delegation members had a nice tour in the city.
