WHTS co-organized a tech tour with USCF
  WHTS leaders co-organized a delegation with USCF(United States-China Foundation to visit Haicheng Liaoning. Vice Mayor Mr.Bai hosted the welcome reception to the visit. Mr. Bai described the current progress and industrial growth of High tech in this area, and aggressively seeking overseas scholars to come to this area to start their company and also demonstrated that Haicheng is the Home of Gold Exchange, many private sectors have solid financial basis for investment on those novel products with high tech profiles.

Besides, Haicheng has established optical fibrousis network in this area, all governmental institutions and industrial organizations will be able to access to internet by ASDL. Therefor, Haicheng has provided good investment environment for further development for high tech. The local enterprises cordially invited WHTS members to go to Haichen to develop their business.

WHTS members described the strategies of the organization, and extend invitation to those new friends in Haicheng to US too. WHTS currently grasp the today's trend of high tech, and focused on the development of the strategy in Biotechnology and Information Technology and extend the future directions including new material sciences and Photon-Electron-Machinery Integration areas and ect.

Although the differences exist in understanding technology part, however, the science population program and innovation ideas inspired the local entrepreneurs to plan new direction in both new technologies and new products

United States-China Foundation reached agreement with WHTS to form long term partnership in the across cultural communications with those foreign hightechers.
